Summary:In the business environment of any entity, there is an environment of natural competitiveness, leading people to want to stand out, even if they deserve to use negative behaviors towards other collaborators as a result of stigmatism created and carried since the beginning of human settlements. The objective of the research is to carry out an analysis of discrimination at work, encompassing an ethical perspective, taking as a case study in the Province of Santo Domingo. An explanatory and comparative analysis approach based on the data obtained by the Center for Information and Technological Management of Holguín on the city is used in the methodology. These stigmas related to discrimination are pointed out, generating a presence in different sectors within the province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, where high levels of inequality are evidenced by being part of a society where human beings are pigeonholed based on a series of prejudices. Finally, it is possible to determine a clear sample of high discrimination against pregnant women, young people and people with special abilities as a result of reasons related to the personal or collective benefit of the workers of a company.
En el ámbito empresarial de cualquier entidad se cuenta con un ambiente de competitividad natural, llevando a las personas a querer sobresalir, incluso si ameritan utilizar comportamientos negativos hacia otros colaboradores producto de estigmatismos creados y acarreados desde los inicios de los asentamientos humanos. El objetivo de la investigación es efectuar un análisis de la discriminación en el trabajo abarcando una perspectiva ética tomando como caso de estudio en la Provincia de Santo Domingo. Se utiliza en la metodología un enfoque de análisis explicativo y comparativo basado en los datos obtenidos por el Centro de Información y Gestión tecnológica de Holguín sobre la ciudad. Se señalan dichos estigmas relacionados a la discriminación generando presencia en distintos sectores dentro de la provincia de Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas donde se evidencia altos niveles de desigualdad al formar parte de una sociedad donde se encasillan a los seres humanos basados a una serie de prejuicios. Finalmente se logra determinar una muestra clara de alta discriminación hacia mujeres embarazadas, personas jóvenes y con capacidades especiales producto de razones relacionadas a beneficio propio u colectivo de los trabajadores de una empresa.
