Summary:This project will involve a systematic review of published research evidence on the clinical effectiveness, harms, cost-effectiveness, and associated patient preferences and values of screening for chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection in asymptomatic non-pregnant adults; as well as of the diagnostic test accuracy of one screening test available in Canada, the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) version 3.0 test, compared with the reference standard PCR test, for detecting HCV infection in the same population
